Upgrading the CTERA Portal Software

To upgrade CTERA Portal software

1. Change the current directory to the upgrade directory.

   cd /usr/local/lib/ctera/CTERA-Portal-v4.1.x-Upgrade

2. Perform the upgrade, by entering the following command:

   ctera-portal-manage.sh upgrade CTERA-Portal-v4.1.x.tgz

3. Start CTERA Portal Services on the server, by entering the following command:

   ctera-portal-manage.sh start

4. Monitor the CTERA Portal Apache Tomcat logs for ERROR messages.
   • To tail the log file, enter the following command:

     ctera-portal-log.sh tomcat -f
