At CTERA, we’re looking for a Sr. Technical Product Marketing Manager who thrives on helping organizations simplify their journey to the cloud, translating technical capabilities into powerful, clear value propositions for our products.

We're looking for a motivated self-starter with a passion for cloud technology who can turn technical capabilities into compelling sales narratives. You'll ensure consistent, differentiated messaging in all collateral, conduct demos, webinars, and training for sales and channel partners, and contribute to CTERA's core marketing initiatives. Success in this role requires technical proficiency, competitive insight, strong project management skills, and an in-depth understanding of customer needs and buyer personas.




Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing or product management, specifically in NAS storage, cloud computing, or data storage industries.
  • Extensive experience in product marketing with a strong background in storage infrastructure and file storage platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to work directly with customers, translate technical concepts into impactful marketing messages and lead complex projects.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and knowledge of cloud-based architectures in domains such as Storage, Security, and Data Management.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • High-level communication skills for executive-level discussions and a demonstrated passion for learning and technology adoption.


Responsibilities

The Sr. Technical Product Marketing Manager at CTERA will drive go-to-market strategy and shape sales enablement tools that highlight the unique value of our hybrid cloud data platform. Using technical expertise and market insights, you’ll work with engineering and product teams to craft and refine messaging that resonates across industries—engineering, manufacturing, finance, government, healthcare, media, and more—positioning CTERA as a leader in cyber-resilient enterprise file services.


  • Messaging and Positioning: Partner with Product Management and Engineering to create positioning and messaging for CTERA’s offerings at the portfolio level, ensuring consistency across channels and communicating complex technology in an impactful way.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth industry and competitive analysis, synthesizing data from internal and external sources, including customer feedback and market trends, to drive product messaging.
  • Content Development: Collaborate across teams to create materials such as presentations, case studies, and demo scripts that educate and engage customers and stakeholders about CTERA’s solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales to ensure messaging is broadly and clearly articulated, supporting the efforts of these teams across different platforms.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in and help shape CTERA’s presence at industry events, partner forums, and other high-profile venues to highlight our solutions’ unique capabilities.
