Managing All the Agents
From the CTERA Agents page, you can see the status of every agent registered with the gateway, including agents that are currently not connected to the gateway.
Type – The CTERA Agent's type. denotes a workstation and denotes a server. To view the operating system details, mouse-over the icon.
Name – The name of the device on which the CTERA Agent is installed.
Status – The current status of the agent:
Online – The CTERA Agent is connected and idle.
Disabled – The CTERA Agent is disabled. When an agent is disabled, it remains connected and can still be managed centrally, even though no backups are performed.
Offline – The CTERA Agent is not connected to the gateway.
Running – The CTERA Agent is performing a backup operation.
Retrying – The CTERA Agent is retrying a failed backup operation.
Note: In the MY COMPUTERS tab, the status is displayed next to the computer name.
Progress – The progress of the current local backup operation if a backup is running.
Last File-level Backup – The result of the last file-level backup of the CTERA Agent, for example, Completed, Failed or Stopped, followed by the amount of time elapsed since the backup.
Last Disk-level Backup – The result of the last disk-level backup of the CTERA Agent, for example, Completed, Failed or Stopped, followed by the amount of time elapsed since the backup. N/A, not applicable, is displayed if there are no disk level backups.
Owner – The user name that was used to connect the CTERA Agent to the gateway.
Version – The CTERA Agent's software version.
