Each CTERA Agent inherits settings from the global settings for all CTERA Agents. You can override the global settings, as well as configure the following agent-specific settings:

File-level backup for the agent, including specifying the files and folders to back up.

Applications to back up, for CTERA Agents on Windows only.

System state backup, for CTERA Agents on Windows only.

Volumes to back up during disk-level backup, for CTERA Agents on Windows only.

Integration with Windows File Explorer, for CTERA Agents on Windows only.

Note: To allow non-administrative users to centrally manage their own agents using the gateway user interface, select the Allow user to configure the agent option in the CTERA Agent global settings, described in Globally Configuring CTERA Agents.
