Shutting Down the Gateway
Warning: Do not disconnect the power supply cable from the wall outlet without first shutting down the gateway or data may be lost.
To shut down a gateway via the gateway user interface:
1 In the status bar, click 
and then click Shutdown.
and then click Shutdown.A confirmation message is displayed.
2 Click Yes.
The gateway shuts down.
You can also hard shutdown a gateway, as described in the CTERA Edge Filer Installation and Maintenance Guide for the gateway.
