Configuring the Autosharing Access Control List
The autosharing access control list allows you to define the permissions for new shares that are created automatically when autosharing is enabled and a removable drive is inserted into a device.
To configure the autosharing access control list:
1 In the Configuration pane, go to the Network Shares page (Share > Shares), and then click Advanced.
2 Add each user and user group who should have access to automatically created shares:
a In the Local Users drop-down list, select one of the following:
Local Users. Search the users defined locally on the cloud storage gateway.
Domain domain Users. Search the users belonging to the domain called domain.
Local Groups. Search the user groups defined locally on the cloud storage gateway.
Domain domain Groups. Search the user groups belonging to the domain called domain.
b In the Quick Search field, type a string that is displayed anywhere within the name of the user or user group you want to add, and then click .
A table of users or user groups matching the search string is displayed.
c Select the desired user or user group in the table.
The user or user group is displayed in the Quick Search field.
d Click Add.
The user or user group is added to the list of users and user groups who should have access to automatically created shares.
3 In each user and user group's row, click in the Permission column, then select the desired access level from the drop-down list.
Options include None, Read Only, and Read/Write.
4 To remove a user or user group, in the user's/group's row click .
The user or user group is removed from the table.
5 Click Finish.
