Sharing a Folder
To make any folder on a NAS volume accessible to other gateway users on the local network:
2 Make a
network share on the folder you want to share. See
Defining Network Shares. In that network share, you'll enable the protocol (Windows File Sharing, FTP, RSync, NFS, Apple File Sharing) that you want your users to be able to use to get to the files.
Note: The following shares are created automatically:
backups – The destination for CTERA Agent and Clientless Backups.
users – The location for storing user home directories. This share is automatically created when the home directories feature is enabled.
cloud – The location for cloud drive synchronization.
