Local File Sharing : Sharing a Folder

Sharing a Folder
To make any folder on a NAS volume accessible to other cloud storage gateway users on the local network:
1 Assign the user a Cloud Storage Gateway user account. See Managing Users.
2 Make a network share on the folder you want to share. See Defining Network Shares. In that network share, you'll enable the protocol (Windows File Sharing, FTP, RSync, NFS, Apple File Sharing) that you want your users to be able to use to get to the files.
3 Configure the relevant protocol on the Cloud Storage Gateway. See Configuring File Sharing Protocols.
4 Provide access to the share. See Accessing Network Shares.
Note: The following shares are created automatically:
backups. The default destination for CTERA Agent and Clientless Backups.
users. The default location for storing user home directories. This share is automatically created when the home directories feature is enabled.
projects. The default location for storing projects. This share is automatically created when the project collaboration feature is enabled.
cloud. The default location for cloud drive synchronization.
