Configure a Second Virtual Processor

This task is only necessary if upgrading from CTERA Portal OS Image 4.0.52 or earlier.

To add a second virtual processor to each VMWare virtual machine

1. In VSphere Client, right-click the virtual machine.
2. Select Edit Settings.

   The Virtual Machine Properties dialog box appears.

   

3. In the Hardware tab, select CPUs and change Number of virtual sockets to two.
