Managing Network Shares
The Network Shares page allows you to manage all network shares on the gateway.
To access the page, in the CONFIGURATION tab, select Share > Shares, in the navigation pane.
Where:
New Share – Define a new share. See Defining Network Shares.
Edit Share – Edit a selected share.
Remove Share – Remove a selected share.
Advanced – Enables:
*External volume autosharing: A network share is automatically created every time a new external drive is inserted.
*Users to browse previous versions of their files.
Name – The name of the share.
Volume – The volume on which the share is defined.
Path – The path on the volume to the folder exposed by the share.
Access – The Windows File Sharing access level. For more details, see Windows File Sharing.
Protocols – Protocols through which the share is exposed.

– CTERA Agent
– Search
Comment – Comments about the share. Fore example, Auto-generated if the share was created automatically.
Status – The status of the share:
*OK
*Offline. The share is not available.
